The History of GerrityStone

Joe Gerrity left his father's small lumber business and Bangor, Maine in 1906 and started what we now know as the The Gerrity Company. Four generations later, the Gerrity's have directed their attention to the fabrication of granite and marble counters, table tops, bathroom vanity tops and just about any desired product which can be fashioned from natural stone. Gerrity Lumber grew to be a dominant supplier in it's industry and set new standards for customer service before being sold in 1994.

The tradition of providing the highest value for our customers continues with GerrityStone.

GerrityStone knows exactly what it takes to earn the loyalty of knowledgeable customers who recognize the true value of a quality product and consistently excellent service. In 1906, the vehicle was lumber, today it is stone. The product, however, remains the same: the fulfillment of our customers' dreams.
