At GerrityStone, our leadership position in the market means we take responsibility for defining what sustainability looks like to the stone industry. Because we have a long-term view of our contributions, we know that modeling sustainability from the inside out is the best way to move the industry forward. We pledge to work hard in three key areas of sustainability:

Water Conservation: We have spent $80,000 on water treatment technology that allows us to use 80% recycled water in our fabrication process.

Energy Saving: We have installed environmentally friendly LED lighting in our Green Room, the area of our showroom where green products are displayed. The new bulbs will not need to be replaced for an estimated twenty years.

Waste Management: We are working with multiple partners to develop and implement an industry leading recycling program. Some innovative examples of what we are investigating are: use of small remnant materials as a substrate in road projects and the use of fabrication byproducts in gardening applications.

GerrityStone's Green Team participates in community events designed to minimize our impact to the environment.
